March 2015

"There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the essence of beauty."-Steve Maraboli

After coming across this quote on Pinterest I've been trying to use it in my daily life. I realized I'm no longer going to follow trends but instead I'm going to set them. Why should I dress in a way I don't absolutely love just to impress others? For me, the first step to accomplishing this was purging my closet. I got rid of everything that I didn't wear often or clothing that didn't fit properly. It was refreshing, I could see what I had and what I need to add to my wardrobe.

One glance at my wardrobe and you can see, I'm drawn to earth tones as well as black and white. I used that color scheme to inspire my March favorites. There's not one item I would have to "make work" just to put together an outfit. Everything is unapologetically me.
